Welcome to DealerScout.ai

Finding a good deal on a used car shouldn't mean wading through hundreds of dealer listings disguised as private sales. That's why we built DealerScout.ai.
The Problem
Facebook Marketplace has become one of the biggest platforms for buying and selling used vehicles. But it's also flooded with dealers posting as private sellers, curbstoners flipping cars, and non-vehicle listings cluttering your search results.
As a buyer, you waste hours clicking into listings only to discover they're from a dealership. The price is marked up, the "seller" has 50 other vehicles listed, and you've just lost another five minutes you'll never get back.
How DealerScout.ai Works
DealerScout.ai is a Chrome extension that runs directly in your browser while you browse Facebook Marketplace. Here's what it does:
- Color-coded badges appear on every listing — green for likely private sellers, red for likely dealers, yellow for uncertain
- Two-stage AI analysis — quick shallow classification for feed badges, then deep analysis when you click into a listing
- Seller scorecards — see exactly why a listing was classified the way it was, with detailed signal breakdowns
- Message templates — ready-to-send messages for verified private sellers
Privacy First
We know browser extensions can be concerning. DealerScout.ai only runs on Facebook Marketplace — it can't see your messages, profile, photos, or personal data. All analysis is performed on public listing information that's already visible on the page.
